Teeth whitening

People who are not satisfied with the color of their teeth undergo a procedure to lighten the color by 4-8 shades. There are four forms of teeth whitening treatment available: at-home, in-office, combined at-home and in-office, and single-tooth whitening. The whitening method applied by the dentist with special gels and special light in the dentist’s clinic is called in-office whitening.

The whitening method applied at home by the patient with trays and whitening gels prepared specifically by the dentist and under the supervision of the dentist is called at-home whitening. In advanced cases, combined treatment, including both at-home and in-office types, can be applied. Additionally, in cases where discoloration is observed in a single tooth due to root canal treatment, trauma, or amalgam filling, the natural color of the tooth is restored using the single-tooth whitening method.
