Zirconium-Based Aesthetic Coating and Bridge System
Reaching the peak of aesthetics with porcelain applications that are as strong as diamonds, beautiful as pearls, natural, and tissue-compatible, and now pushing the limits in durability with zirconium. Zirconium material is obtained by compressing crystals made of white metals under eight tons of pressure and firing at 1500 degrees Celsius.
In this system, zirconium is used as the infrastructure material instead of metal. Studies have shown that the highest performance in aesthetics, durability, tissue compatibility, and naturalness, which are the basic requirements of dentistry, has been achieved. It is a method that results from the combination of manual skills with computer-aided technology. Tooth preparations made by hand in the clinic are shaped in special methods in the laboratory and scanned with a 3D scanning system with the help of a special device. These data are transferred to the shaping section of the device and the crown or bridge is processed by the computer. Thus, a zirconium oxide infrastructure is formed. The surface of this infrastructure is covered with special porcelains. In this way, aesthetic, natural-looking crowns and bridges that transmit light (neon effect), are highly durable, and tissue-compatible are obtained. The biggest advantage of the system is that with its very high durability, porcelains can now be easily used in bridges.
Laminate Porcelains
Laminate, or leaf-style, treatments are treatments performed using very thin special porcelains without any reduction process on the teeth, or with minimal abrasions on the front surfaces of the teeth only for aesthetic and functional reasons, using special adhesive techniques.
Advantages:
Aesthetic appearance is achieved without causing any damage to the teeth or with very minimal deformation.
Since the front surfaces of the teeth are composed of hard and shiny porcelain surfaces, discoloration occurring in natural teeth over the long term does not occur in laminated teeth.
The quick return of colors caused by tooth whitening, with factors such as tea, coffee, and smoking, does not apply to laminated teeth.
In short, laminate coatings are among the essentials of dental aesthetics.
